Farming is to go hi-tech in future. Agriculture is becoming a highly specialised and technical enterprise system which needs latest scientific know-how and hi-tech package of practices. The soil testing must be conducted through mobile soil testing service (MSTS) at the door steps and fields of farmers and the results and recommendations should be given there and then. The State Agricultural Universities must bring out and distribute the Hi-tech Package of Practices both in Hindi and English for the use of farmers and others for increasing the production, income and sustainability of farming.
