Ani Valley


A view from Jallori PassAni Valley is situated to the south- east of Kullu Valley. The altitude of the Valley varies between 1240m to 3560m. The Valley has a breathtaking natural beauty. It encapsulates high virgin passes, verdant forests and a wonderful lake.

Primary health services are available in the valley. Telecommunication services and accommodation facilities are easily accessible.

Ani
Ani (1240m) is situated in the center of the valley. It is situated at a distance of 93km from Kullu town. It is the headquarter of sub- division Ani. There are two churches and a small stadium in the town.

Jallori Pass
Jallori Pass (3223m) is situated in the north of Ani Valley, between Outer Seraj and Inner Seraj. Jallori Pass is at a distance of 60km from the Kullu town. The Pass is accessible throughout the year, except for a couple of weeks during the winters, when it is closed for the vehicular traffic due to snowfall. This pass presents a panoramic view of the Ani and Banjar valleys.

Sereolsar
It is situated to the north of the Valley, 70km from Kullu. Sereolsar (3560m) is a place with a placid and crystal clear snow- water lake.

Khanag
Khanag (2692m) is situated in the north of Ani Valley. It is a nice picnic spot situated among lush green woods, 70km from Kullu.
