visit the palaces of historical worth. These monuments have in
them that instinct that takes you to the bygone epoch.
Naggar
Castle, the only extant fortress was built during Raja
Sidha Singh's reign about 504 years ago. Stones used were brought
from fort situated on the other side of Naggar.
Some changes were made in the structure of the castle during
the British period. There is a small wooden temple in the castle
premises called Jagati Patt temple .
The castle was converted into a Rest House 100 years ago. The
three storeyed Castle serves as a hotel since 1978, which is run
by Tourism Department of Himachal Pradesh Government.

only 10 storeys were left. Presently this structure stands around
20 feet high. The ground floor is bigger in area as compared to
the upper storeys giving it a cone like appearance.

by 3 km uphill walk.
