Kullu Valley School carries out classes from pre- nursery to tenth under ICSE curriculum. The school has a computer room where students from second standard onwards are taught computers. There are three science laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology with all mod cons. The school has a well- resourced library, having about 4000 books ranging from fairy tales to almanacs.

In order to ensure the all- round development of students the school has formed a cultural academy for conducting extra-curricular activities. This academy conducts music and dance classes for the willing students. The school conducts Karate classes too in order to ensure healthy physique of the students.

KVS has a spacious playground aiding swings, badminton and basketball court. Vis-à-vis indoor games, Table Tennis is available. Every Saturday is sports day and the Annual Sports Day is held in July.

The school facilitates boarding houses for boys and girls. The girls hostel is located in the school premises itself, whereas boys hostel is situated on the left bank of River Beas at Juani Ropa, 1 km away from the school. Transportation facilities are made available for the junior hostlers till the school.

The school operates three buses, 10 vans and 30 auto-rickshaws for the students. The school timings are kept 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as this is the only school in the valley where students belonging to every nook and corner of the valley study.

The school takes notice that the parents are kept informed about their student's activities and thrice a year parent-teacher meet is also conducted. The students are entitled to 15 days of summer vacations in July and winter vacations of 2 months. Concisely, the school takes care to prepare their students for all facets of existence.
